We hired Monique Breaux with POSH Exclusive Interiors to design a house for us from the outside in.  We brought her several ideas and gave her a general charge on our take for our new estate. We were seeking an experienced and professional team that could complete a job entirely.  Monique design-directed the team from the architect/draftsman/contractors, and she also directed all of the interior architectural detailing, space planning, and interior decorating.  These detailed design and technical responsibilities included everything-- from interior colors and finishes, lighting, plumbing, flooring, furnishings to fresh floral arrangements, stocking the wine cellar and pantry, as well as transferring and completely arranging our clothes closets. There was nothing left to buy, not even toothpaste...and the sheets were pressed and on the beds ready for the first night in our new home.

The remarkable thing about this whole process is that it is typical for a client to hire the architect first, but in the case of POSH Exclusive Interiors and its unique service, we were fortunate to have hired the design firm first.  That way the POSH team was included in selecting the architect that best fit our needs.  Monique is a take-charge person, and if you want things done correctly and professionally, she is the person for the job.  Her title as designer is somewhat misleading because she also serves as the owner’s representative when she is dealing with architects, contractors and subcontractors.  Her training and experience enable her to seek out the most unique items for both the exterior and interior of the home, and when appropriate, she researches and initiates many one-of-a-kind ideas.  Her resource of many specialty companies from around the world ensures a very unique and appealing look.

I have seen Monique work on several projects and her vast knowledge of construction and design and her natural leadership ability to get her team to provide what the client needs and wants are truly unmatched.  She travels the country doing design work for clients, and based on my experience with her, she never shies away from a challenge.  She represented our interest in this process regardless of the situation.  She is honest, upfront and very ethical.  It is obvious that she loves what she does and I would AND have recommended her to many of my friends who are about to start the building process.  One more very important issue...Monique was very respectful of our privacy and confidentiality throughout the design and construction process.  For the exclusive clientele that she attracts, this is an invaluable component of the entire process.

Just a short note to let you know how much I have appreciated your talent and professional services over the last several years.  Time certainly flies.  It is hard to believe that you have designed three of my homes as well as our 11,000 sq/ft commercial space.  I sincerely believe that I could not have done any of these projects effectively without your help.  You are not just a designer (even though you are the best in the industry), but you have been an advocate to my best interests with contractors, etc, and a loyal and reliable friend.  When we worked together for the first time around 8 years ago I explained to you my objectives.   After working long stressful hours, I wanted to come home to a “Ritz Carlton” luxury environment.  A comfortable cocoon where I could feel happy being home, whether it is working at my desk, relaxing, or entertaining.   Now the irony is I look forward to getting back to the comfort at home after roughing it at the Ritz!
