Monique participated in Home and Garden Television (HGTV) to compete as one of the aspiring designers on the TV show, Designers' Challenge. She was selected by the homeowners as the designer to complete the project for HGTV. Her projects are frequently published in design magazines both locally and nationally. The ROBB REPORT featured one of her projects as one of the most irresistible gifts to receive for the Holiday Season. In addition, Monique has authored articles for design publications on the forefront of design.

Monique has also assisted in furniture design for several United States based furniture companies. Her design projects have also been featured by Fine Art Lamps and used in global advertisement.

Monique's sophisticated style and her unique approach to design are complemented by her exemplary foundation in design, with degrees from Louisiana State University (LSU) and the acclaimed Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. Monique is a member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

Monique not only serves as president of Posh Exclusive Interiors, she has conducted research for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Computer Aided Design (CAD) used by apparel and interior designers nationwide. Monique personally creates and coordinates all facets of Posh Exclusive Interiors design projects. Her extensive background in textiles and soft-good construction combined with her construction background have enabled her to design creations which are unique and innovative. Furthermore, Monique designed the complete contemporary collection of minaudieres for the world renowned Vivian Alexander.

Posh Exclusive Interiors has an outstanding client base in several States which enables Monique to approach design projects from many different angles regardless of THE CLIENT'S personal style. Function is a very important part of her design process. She reminds her clients frequently that a house is not a home unless it functions for the owners' needs.
