ARCHITECT

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Architecture or a related field. 

Training: Minimum of 12 months of training required in the following fields: Construction material, cabinetry fab processes, architectural hardware systems, install techniques, technical drawing interpretation, measurement conversion systems, architectural project coordination. 

Experience: Minimum of 24 months of experience in architecture. 

Language: Must have native or native like fluency in both English and Spanish. 

Special Skills: Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for technical drawing development, 3D modeling, and architectural visualization; technical drawing, construction documentation, rendering, and project presentation skills; technical knowledge of custom cabinetry, doors, architectural finishes, hardware systems, and installation techniques; experience specifying architectural hardware systems from international manufacturers, including European brands originating from Germany and Austria; experience integrating multiple architectural materials such as wood, melamine, leather, metal profiles, and glass; ability to coordinate fabrication processes and technical communication with suppliers and manufacturers; and experience interpreting and converting measurements between metric and imperial systems for technical documentation and project execution.

Job Duties

  • Prepare architectural drawings and technical documentation for residential and commercial remodeling projects, including custom cabinetry, doors, finishes, and the integration of various materials such as wood, melamine, leather, metal profiles, and glass.
     

  • Conduct field measurements and site surveys using both metric and imperial measurement systems (centimeters and inches) to ensure accurate technical drawings and construction documentation.
     

  • Develop 3D visualizations and renderings using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit for project presentations and client review; prepare technical and design presentations for clients, explaining architectural solutions, material selections, and construction details.
     

  • Develop technical documentation and product specification books with corresponding technical sheets to support proper fabrication and installation.
     

  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project technical requirements.
     

  • Coordinate fabrication of cabinetry and architectural components with manufacturers, including technical communication, review of specifications, and production follow-up.
     

  • Support coordination related to the delivery and installation of cabinetry and architectural components at project sites.
     

  • Serve as a bilingual communication liaison between manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and installers to facilitate proper interpretation of drawings and technical specifications.
     

  • Provide technical guidance to installation teams regarding proper installation procedures for cabinetry, architectural wall systems, cladding systems, and ceilings.
     

  • Assist in space planning, material selection, and coordination of architectural and interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
